Literature helps us to understand the character traits and motives of many different people. Some people are similar to us, and others are very different. Write a well developed paragraph in which you tell me which character in The Outsiders you are most like and why. You may choose any character, but you must make sure you connect to them in some real way.
In the book, The Outsiders, I think I am most like Cherry. I think I am most like her because when she first met Dally, Ponyboy, and Johnny she did not judge them as being greasers. She gave them a chance and actually got to know them. I am alike because I never judge people, I get to know them first. She also knew that people like Ponyboy and Johnny were good people to hang around with, but Dally was not. I always try my best to surround myself with people that make good choices and will help me in life, not bring me down. She also hated fights, which I also dislike. That is why I think I am most like Cherry in the book, The Outsiders.
